Professional Resilience and Flexibility for Success

This module explores the concept of resilience and its relevance to work-related stress. Participants will examine the relationship between mental and emotional resilience and achieving work-life balance amidst adversities and opportunities. They will learn strategies for integrating green practices to enhance stress tolerance and resilience in the workplace such as creating art from natural materials, solving environmental riddles outdoors, trail clean-up and restoration, nature photography contests, nature trivia challenges, etc. Engaging in physical activity and/or creative processes allow participants to temporarily shift their focus away from stressors and immerse themselves in the activity, promoting relaxation, and releasing endorphins, the body's natural stress-relievers. Additionally, participants will conduct a resilient SWOT analysis to identify personal strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for fostering resilience and personal growth.
